Frequently Asked Questions about Music Lessons

All of our teachers have degrees in music and most of them have advanced degrees. 

We have 3 recitals a year. We also have a monthly informal performance workshop. In the summer, we have summer camps and musicals.

We believe any student-musician can go as far as they want to go. No dream is too big. We have helped many students go on to music colleges and/or have successful careers in music. We will help your student-musician every step of the way.

We also offer an advanced musician program for our accelerated musicians. 

We love beginners! One of our favorite stories is of a family who signed up for lessons, not knowing if they would like it. They did so well in the first year that they were invited to the advanced program! You never know what will happen!

Yes! Over 30% of our student body are adults. 

Yes! We belong to MTNA, Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, NATS, and other professional organizations. We also sponsor our own competition. If you are interested in a competition, please let us know!

We are a classical music-based school but we do teach other styles (pop, rock, musical theatre, jazz, etc.)
